April Movement Challenge + A Prize!
I’m excited to announce Genuine Movement’s first movement challenge! For all of April, I will be posting daily movement and self-massage prompts to help you find more ways to make movement even more fun.
I will be sharing the prompts on social media and you can follow along on Instagram, @genuine_movement and Facebook. All you need to do to partake is to follow me on Instagram and Facebook to see each day's prompt and to post at least one photo or video of you participating in the challenge by April 30. Be sure to tag me in the photo, @genuine_movement, and use the hashtag #genuine30 to make sure I see your post. I believe that movement even in small, bite-sized increments is powerful and the prompts will reflect this. All I’m asking for is five to 10 minutes a day. But feel free to add on and do more. Find what works for you and your schedule. This challenge will be inclusive and accessible as I will offer variations for both chair users and non-chair users in my daily prompts.
Because movement is important to me and I want you to be enthusiastic, too, I’m excited to offer a virtual or in-person 60 minute private Pilates session or a 60 minute massage session for the movement challenge winner. You don’t have to be a Portland resident to win so please share this opportunity with your friends. Remember, you must follow me on Instagram and Facebook to be eligible to win because that is where I will share the daily prompts.
